Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB)
Students on the Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB) will provide feedback as well as advocate for the health and wellness of all 91Ó°ÊÓ students.
SWAB meets virtually once a month during the Fall and Spring semester. All students are welcome and receive an hour for Tulsa Achieves.
Wellness Advocates
Looking to earn volunteer hours and make a difference? Join Wellness Advocates! This flexible opportunity lets you support student wellness by helping with events, sharing resources, and raising awareness about health topics across the 91Ó°ÊÓ community.
Peer Health Education Program Scholarship
The primary role of a Peer Health Educator (PHE) is to develop and implement health education and awareness programs with the goal of improving the long-term healthy behaviors of 91Ó°ÊÓ students. Health education topics include stress management, healthy sleep habits, mental health, sexual health, alcohol and drug prevention, suicide prevention, healthy relationships and more.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current 91Ó°ÊÓ student
- Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA
- Interested in health and wellness
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Must be in good conduct standing with 91Ó°ÊÓ
- Support the goals, expectations, and mission of Wellness Services and 91Ó°ÊÓ
- Be able to commit approximately 3 hours per week
The scholarship application process opens each Spring semester.
