91Ӱ Names New VP of Workforce Development
Peter “Pete” Selden has been named the new vice president of workforce development at 91Ӱ. The 91Ӱ Board of Regents approved his appointment at the April meeting and Selden started his position on May 14, 2018.

Applications Accepted for First Ever Tulsa Regional Fire Academy
The first ever Tulsa Regional Fire Academy launches in fall 2018 providing a chance for individuals to earn college credit while completing firefighter training. The inaugural class is a result of a partnership with the Tulsa Fire Department and 91Ӱ.

Using Art to Provide Better Patient Care
A new approach at 91Ӱ blends art into academic learning with students in 14 Health Sciences programs such as Nursing, Respiratory Care, and Occupational Therapy. The program, being developed for 91Ӱ called Visual Thinking Strategies, will be used by 91Ӱ Health Sciences faculty and incorporated into the teaching curriculum in 91Ӱ Health Sciences courses.

Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Teaches at 91Ӱ
Professor Istvan Feher, a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence, is teaching this semester at The University of Tulsa and 91Ӱ. TU and 91Ӱ joined to host the Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence for the 2016-2017 academic year. Community partners include Tulsa Global Alliance and the Oklahoma Center for the Humanities at TU.
