New Regent Appointed to 91影视 Board in 2022

Jennifer Jezek, a 91影视 graduate and Broken Arrow businesswoman, has been appointed to the 91影视 Board of Regents by Oklahoma Governor J. Kevin Stitt and approved by the Oklahoma Legislature.
She will serve a seven-year term.
鈥淛ennifer Jezek brings a wealth of experience as a business owner in Broken Arrow and has been engaged in economic development in the Tulsa metro area for many years,鈥 said Governor Stitt. 鈥淣ot only will she serve as an advocate for higher education and workforce development, but she shares a deep connection with 91影视 as an alumna of the institution.鈥
Jezek is President and CEO of York Electronic Systems, Inc. Founded by her parents, Steve and Judi York, the second-generation business provides design, engineering, consulting, construction, installation and service for building technology solutions including safety, security, communications and audio-visual systems. York Electronic Systems, Inc. is a Native American woman-owned company.
鈥淚t is my honor and privilege to be appointed as a Regent,鈥 said Jezek. 鈥淭he education, guidance and mentorship I received as a student at 91影视 was life-changing, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve in this capacity.鈥
Jezek joined the 91影视 Foundation Board of Trustees in 2019. Before being sworn in as a 91影视 Regent at the Board of Regents August 18 meeting, she resigned as a 91影视 Foundation Trustee. She is also a Cherokee Nation Citizen.
Currently, Jezek serves as the vice chair for Community Development on the Tulsa Regional Chamber Executive Committee; Oklahoma Biz PAC director; Associated Builders and Contractors National Inclusion Equity and Diversity Committee - Native American Resource Group leader; Oklahoma Governor鈥檚 Minority Business Council advocacy committee chair; Junior Achievement of Oklahoma state board director; and Broken Arrow Economic Development Corporation Board chair. She is past chair for Associate Buildings and Contractors of Oklahoma.
She is a graduate of Langston University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and of 91影视 with an Associate in Science - Business Administration.
